Emily was the 1st Lady President of Makati Chamber of Commerce and Industry now PCCI Makati. This is her 2nd term to be President. She was a Trustee of PCCI-NCR from 2015-2019.

She is a licensed real estate practitioner for the past 25 years. First Vice President for Sales and Marketing of ASB Realty Corporation, developer of the 1st hi-rise condominiums in Legaspi Village, Greenbelt area Makati City for 18 years. She set up Fairmont Realty and Property Management that focus on general real estate brokerage, property development and management, joint venture packaging and investment advisory for both private and government.

Consultant of various government agencies — National Homes Mortgage Financing Corporation for Local Government Units (Socialized Housing Project), Phil. Retirement Authority and Special Adviser to the Director General of Phil Economic Zone Authority (PEZA).

She was the Chairperson and President of the Congressional Spouses Foundation Inc in 2016-2018. In her term she initiated the project “Inmatepreneur” – livelihood program for the People Deprived of Liberty (Inmates) of Bureau of Jail and Management and Penology and Correctional Institute for Women which up to now she is continuously pursuing.

Past President of the Rotary Club of Makati Edsa where she initiated the project “Bancart” a livelihood program that provided motorized fishing boats for the fisherfolks at Kinartarcan Island, Sta. Fe, Cebu affected by typhoon Haiyan and Chairperson of the RI District 3830 Mega Job and Career Fair from the year 2016-2020. Past President of PAREB-Real Estate Board of Rizal and was crowned as the most popular lady realtor in 1997.

She served as a Provincial Board Member of the Province of Davao Del Norte and was awarded as the Most Outstanding Lady Legislator in 2007.

Took up Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology at the University of Santo Tomas, Strategic Marketing, Analysis and Planning at the Institute of Asian Management and Economics, Mini masters on Franchising at the Asian Institute of Management.
