Company Description:
Founded in 1989 by Mr. Jose C. Reaño, BROADCHEM CORPORATION initially served as a market development company. Over the years, it ventured into introducing and distributing top-notch swine biological products, eventually becoming the leading distributor in the Philippines by 1998.
In 2003, the company revamped its product policy to prioritize consumer and company interests. Expansions followed in 2005 with dog and cat biological and pharmaceutical products, and in 2008 with animal nutrition and natural products. Notable introductions include human food supplements targeting Candidiasis, periodontitis, and acne in 2009, and pure Beta-Glucan and phytosterol for humans in 2010. The establishment of St. Ambrose International Limited (SAIL) in 2010 marked a significant milestone, promoting biodiversity and producing local red wine and organic honey.
In 2011, the company rebranded as Broadchem Philippines Biopharma Corporation (BPBC) to reflect its diversified business portfolio. Under the leadership of CEO Mr. Archimedes G. Reaño since 2012, BPBC has expanded its offerings to include pet accessories and consumables by 2016.
Presently, BPBC operates through three divisions – Animal Health, Feeds and Nutrition, and Human Divisions, forging exclusive ties with multinational companies from the USA and Asia.
Committed to integrity, professionalism, and eco-friendliness, BPBC strives to be the market leader in providing high-quality animal, human, and environmental health products and services, driven by values such as human development, service orientation, and a sense of ownership.
